Challenge
Hosts bounce between a waitlist clipboard, a booking diary, and a gut feel for how long the next party will stand. The first version had to show the floor as it is tonight, not a reporting pack for next week.
Approach
We put live service on the home screen: occupancy, queue, covers, then the four numbers the host actually uses. Average wait carries an AI confidence band so staff can quote a time without inventing one. Queue, Floor, Bookings, and Insights sit in the tab bar for the next slice of the product.
